People only post the wins.

So here’s the other side.

I’ve been in debt.
$40k car loan.
$10k tax bill.
$500 left in my account.

No plan. No structure. Just vibes.

In 2020 I actually did things right.
Stacked BTC and ETH.
Built it to ~75k.

Then I pulled money out
to buy a car I didn’t need
with a loan I definitely didn’t need.

That was the first crack.

2022 was worse.
Lost ~40k to an NFT scam.
Tried to “make it back.”

You know how that goes.
Bad mints. Worse trades.

People shilling who wouldn’t care if I vanished.

Ended that year with about $1k
and a lot of denial.

Then reality showed up.
Debt. Taxes. No excuses left.

2025 hurt the most.

Lost a big chunk to a social engineering scam.

Years of work gone in minutes.
Not because I was unlucky.

Because I’d gotten greedy and careless.

Every DM felt like an opportunity.

Every shortcut felt earned.

That one broke me.
Not financially but mentally.

I had to stop.
Sell things I loved.
Slow my thinking down.
Step away and rebuild from zero.

Risk.
Sizing.
Patience.
Life structure.

No more hero trades.
No more ego.
No hail marys.

What trading taught me and life confirmed, is that learning how to lose matters more than learning how to win.

The dark periods don’t weaken you

if you actually face them.

They become the foundation
for something much more solid.
