This is a yearly chart of Bitcoin. Each candlestick represents the price of Bitcoin in a particular year. As you observe, on average, Bitcoin tends to have three consecutive years of upward movement (green), followed by one year of decline (red).

However, this time, the two-year increase was driven by significant institutional adoption, especially in 2025, which should have been green, indicating upward movement, but it only declined slightly. Still, if you lived through the year yourself, you would realize that Bitcoin didn't just go straight down; it moves up and down. In fact, even until August, last year's candle remained green, and only towards the end of the year did it finally decline, ending with a shooting star.

The reason for that decline was the October 10 tariff announcement made by Donald Trump. We could have ended the year in green... By the way, the change has already been made. Things have shifted. In my opinion, there won't be a significant long-term change this year. I believe this year's candlestick will end as a doji. If it moves up, it won't be sustainable; if it moves down, there will be a flush and a rebound.

Institutional adoption will help stabilize Bitcoin's price, and without this adoption, people's bearish sentiment will persist. But that bearish outlook, combined with adoption, will help balance the market.

Regarding altcoins, you just pray. If your prayers are not answered, it’s better to gradually start taking profits little by little, especially when you see signs that they are reaching their peak.
