According to Bloomberg, the Parliament of Ghana has approved the legalization bill for Crypto Assets, aimed at addressing the Central Bank's concerns about the increasing use of this alternative asset in West African countries and the lack of regulation. Bank of Ghana Governor Johnson Asiamah stated in the capital, Accra, over the weekend that the passage of the "Virtual Asset Service Providers Act" will facilitate the licensing distribution of Crypto Assets platforms and the regulation of related activities.
