Why do we step on little people during the Winter Solstice?
Because the cold days of the 'nine cold days' start tonight.
The ancients were very wise.
They take the longest night
Becoming the starting point of counting
Every nine days thereafter
Daylight slowly regains an inch.
In the darkest place, it is the time to turn back.
And hiding in the dark
There will always be some little people pulling at your legs.
Do you want to step on it?
