Spot trading has never been about the buy point in determining returns

This Gate spot trade may not look spectacular, and in fact, it experienced a slight pullback in the first few days after buying. But looking back, what truly made a difference was not how precisely I timed the bottom, but why I dared to buy in the first place and why I didn’t sell later on.

The logic at the time was simple: the trend was intact, sentiment was retreating, and chips were stable. The price wasn’t at the lowest point but was in a “mispriced” range. Many would wait for an even lower price, but the market rarely offers perfect answers.

The biggest test during this process was patience during the sideways period. No rally, no news, the account almost had “no presence.” But it was during this time that short-term emotional traders were weeded out.
This trade ultimately made a profit not because of clever judgment, but because of consistent execution.
