End of the first day of the challenge. Started with a principal of 1000u, and now the account shows 1075u.
My hands were a bit itchy today, so I opened 16 positions in one go—12 were profitable, netting over 97 bucks; 4 hit stop-loss and closed, losing 6.2. Theoretically, shouldn't I have made over 90 in net profit?
But when I checked the account statement, I was shocked: the fees deducted were 15u???
That's way too much, almost a fifth of my profits. If I had known frequent trading was this expensive, I would've just held my positions passively... I definitely need to adjust my strategy, or else all my profits will just go to the platform.

Transaction fees are truly the hidden killer; frequent trading is just working for the platform for free.

The way they take a cut in fees is really ruthless, almost wiping out the profits.

Damn, the fee is 15 USD, this is just ridiculous. I haven't even earned as much as I spent.

This monster called transaction fees quietly eats away half of your life.

Damn, the fees are so outrageous. More than half of my hard-earned profit just got eaten up.

The fees are really a hidden pitfall here; the cost-effectiveness of high-frequency trading collapses completely.

The fees are really outrageous—if you trade frequently, it’s basically like working for the exchange.

The fee ate up 15u all at once—this is what real fleecing looks like, haha.
