I saw someone else showing off their “all-in, doubled my money” profit screenshots again. To be honest, seeing these kinds of posts all the time just makes me laugh—do you really think the crypto market is your personal ATM? Out of every ten people who enter the space, nine are there just to pay tuition, and the one left either really has some skills or just got insanely lucky.

If you’ve stuck around to read this far, I’m guessing it’s either because you’re up late staring at your account and can’t sleep, or your portfolio is so deep in the red that you’re questioning your life choices and debating whether to cut your losses. Am I right?

But before you start complaining, let me ask you: how much have you actually lost? Did your whole principal of tens of thousands just evaporate, or did you borrow money from friends to get in and end up losing everything? The most outrageous case I’ve seen—a guy put all his wedding savings into crypto, and when the market crashed, he went from soon-to-be groom to living paycheck to paycheck, too scared to even buy bubble tea.

That said, don’t be too pessimistic either. I know plenty of people who were in way worse shape before, but have long since broken out of the “chasing pumps and panic selling” cycle and are now making steady profits. Just last month, someone told me their realized gains were enough to cover over half a year’s rent—way better than a fixed salary.

You’re probably wondering: if we’re all trading crypto, why do some people keep losing more while others manage to make steady profits? The real reason boils down to just one thing—awareness. In the crypto market, you make money on information gaps and cognitive differences, not by random gambling or getting lucky. All those flashy signal groups, “insider tips,” and livestreams telling you what to buy are just traps for newbies.

The ones who actually survive in this market rely on judging trends, managing risk, and understanding human nature. What do you think?

Another "double your money" dreamer. I bet five bucks he's maxed out on leverage. Oh man, I totally get that guy with the wedding savings. That's me, honestly. Cognitive gap? My current understanding is—just don't touch leverage, seriously. Reading this article just annoys me. There's always someone trying to tell me how to live... whatever, I'll just keep watching the charts. It all sounds nice, but in the end, it's still gambler's mentality, myself included. I've never seen anyone consistently make stable profits, only waves of friends disappearing.

That's right, most of those all-in screenshots are just survivor bias, they make me want to laugh. Seriously, nine out of ten people are just paying tuition—I’ve seen it happen way too many times. Anyone who’s lost money understands, that feeling of being so deep in the red you start to question life. The key is still knowledge gap, not just luck. One word—greed kills, chasing pumps and panic selling is the most fatal. I’ve made mistakes too, only now am I starting to stabilize. Cutting losses is the hardest part, mental preparation is really important. In crypto, risk management is more important than anything. Once your knowledge catches up, your account will too—there are no shortcuts.

It’s the same old rhetoric again. Hearing it too much just gets exhausting. Is it even real? Everyone says this but hardly anyone actually makes real money. Wake up, everyone. Everyone wants to have that knowledge edge, but in reality, it's all just survivor bias. I just want to know why those so-called consistently profitable people are still posting these long essays.

This script looks familiar—it's the classic self-redemption scene of seasoned bag holders in the crypto space.
