Last year's plunge wiped out 850,000 in an instant.

I smashed my phone, deleted all my trading apps, and hid for a month, too ashamed to see anyone. Staring at my empty account, I had only one thought: I'm done with this.

But lying in bed, I couldn't sleep. That fire inside me was still burning—why should I just admit defeat like this?

At the start of the year, I had 3,000U left in my pocket. I drew a line for myself: this is my last shot, all or nothing.

No fancy strategies, just engraved the word "discipline" into my bones.

Starting with 2,200U, I set strict rules for myself: no matter how good a position looks, never invest more than 40%—the rest is my lifeline; cut losses immediately when the stop-loss is hit, no waiting, no gambling, no wishful thinking; never chase highs or bottoms or mess around—when the market is good, ride the strong coins and take profits, when it's bad, stay on the sidelines and just watch.

Sometimes the timing is right—a quick dip and recovery, and I made 5,000U in ten minutes. Watching those numbers jump made my heart almost explode—but I didn't get cocky. Kept 30% to keep trading, withdrew 70% straight to my pocket.

Grinding it out like this, not only did I recover the 500,000 I'd lost, I ended up making an extra 300,000 on top.

Now I've figured it out: in this game, it's not about who runs the fastest, it's about who dies the latest. Those simple, seemingly dumb rules—control your position size, cut your losses, don't get carried away—are what actually keep you alive for the next bull and bear cycle.

I'll leave this for anyone willing to listen: sticking to your own set of rules is more useful than anything else.

This is the truth, the rules are the lifeline, there are no bells and whistles.

850,000 is gone and still able to make a comeback, that mindset is truly impressive. If it were me, I would have given up long ago. But then again, following rules is easier said than done.

850,000 is gone, but this guy still managed to make a comeback—he's really tough. But to be honest, these "rules" sound simple, yet very few can truly stick to them. I'm one of those who fell behind.

850,000 is gone but still able to make a comeback, that mindset is really tough. But to put it bluntly, it's just about staying alive—discipline really works better than luck.

Honestly, I'm really scared of hearing the word "rules" now. Every time I hear it, it reminds me of those days when I was brutally liquidated. That feeling is truly unbearable.
