Thinking you can make waves in the crypto world with just a few hundred USDT? Hold that impulse.

I know a friend who started with 600 USDT last year, and three months later, his account balance was just over 20,000 USDT. No magic tricks involved—he simply ingrained three iron rules into his mind:

**Split your funds wisely**
Divide the 600 USDT into three equal parts. Use 200 USDT strictly for daily trading, only touching major coins like BTC and ETH, and cashing out after a 3%-5% gain—never waiting until the next day. Another 200 USDT is reserved for swing trades, holding for 3-5 days when the signals look good, aiming for steady gains. The last 200 USDT is locked away and untouched—this is your comeback capital if you get liquidated. I’ve seen too many people go all-in, get excited after a win, and then quit altogether after a loss. Real winners always keep enough chips to get back in the game.

**Don’t mess around in sideway markets**
Markets are sluggish eight out of ten days; frequent trading just pays fees to the platform. If there’s no clear direction, sit tight and wait for a trend. Profit up to 12%? Withdraw half immediately—money only counts when it’s in your pocket. When my friend was doubling his stack, he averaged fewer than 20 trades per month. His secret? “If it’s not a sure thing, don’t trade.”

**Set strict limits for yourself**
Never lose more than 2% on a single trade—cut the loss immediately with no hope for a rebound. If you’re up 4%, sell half the position and let the rest ride. Averaging down on a losing trade? That’s a death wish. You don’t need to be right every time, but you must stick to your limits every time. In crypto, it’s never about who’s the boldest—it’s about who survives the longest.

Starting with a small bankroll isn’t shameful; trying to win it all in one go is. Turning 600 USDT into 20,000 USDT is about using rules to control your impulses and patiently waiting for the right moments to strike. Maybe you used to rely on luck, but now you have a method—it’s up to you whether you can stick to it.

Really, it's really hard to survive without splitting small amounts to play around. Living longer is the real king, not who makes money faster. This methodology is actually risk control, but most people just can't hold back. I think the most critical factor is that 2% stop-loss line; if your execution is poor, just exit immediately.

600U to 20,000? Easy to say, but those truly stuck are all about mindset.

That's right, but does this guy really exist... It feels to me like another one of those "friend of a friend" stories. But the rules are indeed correct—the key is that very few people can actually stick to them.

Turning 600U into 20,000 really depends on discipline, not luck.

Looking at historical data, this tripartite method does indeed align with the risk management logic of the Kelly criterion, but the difficulty of execution has been seriously underestimated.

To put it bluntly, it's rigid rules saving lives. I went all-in with my entire position before, and I'm still dirt poor now.
