Looks like zkSync Lite is getting retired in 2026. For context, this was Ethereum's very first zk-rollup that actually shipped to mainnet.



Phasing out legacy infrastructure usually means one thing: there's a next-gen solution in the works. The team's probably consolidating efforts into their newer stack, which makes sense from an engineering standpoint.

Anyone still actively using Lite should start planning migration routes. Timeline's generous enough, but better to move early than scramble last minute.
