Opening perpetuals on-chain? I’m using a certain DeFi protocol right now.
The experience is pretty good—at least slippage is under control and liquidity is deep enough. When trading on-chain derivatives, finding a reliable decentralized protocol really makes things easier.

Can slippage be controlled? I feel like it's still easy to get caught in pitfalls.

Slippage is really crucial; if it's too small, you save on fees, but if it's too large, you risk a liquidation.

ngl, slippage control is table stakes at this point... actually™ if you're not checking the AMM's pricing curve mechanics, you're prob getting rekt on execution anyway. show me the liquidation mechanics tho—that's where most protocols cut corners

Can you control slippage? That depends on how much leverage you're using. Don’t be admiring the deep liquidity here, only to get liquidated by a black swan event later.

Can slippage be controlled? Is this protocol reliable? Has it ever been rugged?

As long as slippage can be controlled, the rest depends on probability.

The slippage control is really reliable; in this regard, it's indeed much better than some smaller platforms.

Slippage really depends on the protocol. Some crappy protocols can make you suffer heavy losses directly.
