Gate News message. On April 8, the Speaker of Iran’s parliament announced on April 9 that three key provisions in the 10-Point Proposal had been violated before the negotiations began. Specifically: first, it does not comply with the provisions in the 10-Point Proposal regarding achieving a ceasefire in Lebanon. Pakistan’s prime minister has explicitly mentioned and claimed that this is a “comprehensive ceasefire that takes effect immediately, everywhere, including Lebanon and other areas”; second, an invading drone entered Iran’s airspace and was destroyed in the city of Lar in Fars Province, clearly violating the provisions prohibiting any further incursion into Iran’s airspace; third, it denies Iran’s right to enriched uranium, which is included in Article 6 of the framework. The Speaker of Iran said that the “workable conditions” that should have served as the basis for negotiations had been openly and explicitly sabotaged, even before the negotiations started. In this situation, it is unreasonable to implement a bilateral ceasefire or to conduct negotiations.
