Reflection AI raises funding target to $2.5 billion, with valuation increasing to $25 billion

Gate News reports that on March 26, NVIDIA-backed AI startup Reflection AI has increased its funding target from $2 billion to $2.5 billion, with its valuation potentially rising from $20 billion to $25 billion. If achieved, this funding round will become one of the largest in the open-source AI sector. Reflection AI was founded in 2024 by former Google DeepMind researcher Misha Laskin and Ioannis Antonoglou, headquartered in New York. The company is dedicated to building a freely accessible and customizable open-source AI model ecosystem in the United States, aiming to develop a technological network on NVIDIA’s chip ecosystem that competes with overseas players. Sources say JPMorgan plans to participate in this round through its “Security and Resilience Program,” and existing investor Disruptive is also expected to follow on.
