Objective
This guide will walk you through how to create and mint your own NFT using the NFT MagicBox feature on Gate Web.
Steps
Step 1: Access NFT MagicBox and Create a Collection
- Click on "NFT MagicBox" to enter the NFT MagicBox page.
- Click either "Create NFTs" on the page directly, or navigate to "My Assets" - "Create NFTs" in the upper-right corner of the page.
- A pop-up window will appear indicating no collections are available. Click the "Click to create collection" button to create one.
- Fill in the required collection information:
- Enter the collection name
- Select a collection category
- Describe your collection (optional)
- Choose a link (optional)
- Upload a logo, cover (optional), and showcase banner (optional)
- Click "Confirm & Create" to finalize your collection setup.
Step 2: Create Your NFT Work
- After creating your collection, click "Create Works" in the upper-right corner to start the creation process.
- Fill in the required information on the "Create Works" page and upload your NFT image or content.
- Review all information carefully and click "Next" to proceed to the minting process.
Step 3: Mint Your NFT
- Click on "Mint" to initiate the minting process.
- Enter your fund password when prompted.
Step 4: Confirm Successful Minting
Once you have successfully submitted your mint request, click "View Details" to see the specific information about your newly minted NFT.
Notes
- Gate only provides minting, transaction, and storage services for NFTs. The platform does not interfere with copyright, quality, physical items, or implicit value matters. Users must make independent judgments regarding trading decisions.
- NFT MagicBox supports uploading content first and minting later. Once minting is completed, the content cannot be changed.
- NFT transactions have low-frequency demand. Newly minted or listed NFTs may not sell immediately and may undergo a price discovery process. Completed NFT transactions cannot be revoked.
- NFTs are blockchain virtual assets that require safe custody of private keys and wallets. Due to their scarcity, lost NFTs may cause immeasurable losses. Please store them securely.
- Gate currently supports only selected external mainstream wallets. The recipient address is not the spot wallet address. Please carefully verify addresses and supported contracts when transferring NFT assets to prevent irretrievable loss.
- NFT MagicBox supports listing multiple copies of one work. Confirm the quantity before trading to avoid significant deviations between valuated prices and market prices.
- Gate does not guarantee that works displayed or sold in NFT MagicBox have no duplicates on other platforms or public blockchains now or in the future. Users must make verifications and judgments independently before trading.

Q1: Can I modify my NFT content after minting?
A: No, once the minting process is completed, the NFT content cannot be changed. Please ensure all information and content are correct before confirming the mint.
Q2: What is the difference between the NFT recipient address and my spot wallet address?
A: The NFT recipient address is specifically for NFT transfers and differs from your spot wallet address. Gate currently supports only selected external mainstream wallets for NFT transactions. Always verify the address and supported contract before transferring.
Q3: How long does it take for my NFT to sell after listing?
A: NFT transactions have low-frequency demand, and there is no guaranteed timeframe for sales. Your NFT may undergo a price discovery process and may not sell immediately. Consider market conditions and pricing carefully when listing your NFT.
