Litecoin Rewinds 13 Blocks After MWEB Attack, GitHub Log Challenges Timeline
Litecoin rewound 13 blocks, or about 32 minutes of activity, after attackers exploited bugs tied to its Mimblewimble Extension Block protocol. The Litecoin Foundation said Core v0.21.5.4 fully patched the bug. Researchers reviewing public GitHub commits said the consensus flaw had been privately patched between March 19 and March 26, weeks before the attack.
