Gelonghui March 26丨WING ON CO (00289.HK) announced its annual results for the year ending December 31, 2025, with the group’s revenue amounting to HKD 852 million, a decrease of 10.0% year-on-year, primarily due to a decline in the group’s department store business and property investment income.
For the year ending December 31, 2025, the group recorded a loss attributable to shareholders of HKD 330.5 million, compared to a loss of HKD 919.1 million in the same period of 2024. This loss was mainly due to a net loss in the valuation of the group’s investment properties of HKD 962.0 million for the year ending December 31, 2025, compared to HKD 1,375.5 million for the year ending December 31, 2024; and the group’s investment portfolio income was HKD 451.2 million for the year ending December 31, 2025, compared to HKD 222.5 million for the year ending December 31, 2024.
Excluding the net loss in the valuation of the group’s investment properties and related deferred tax items, the group recorded a basic profit attributable to shareholders of HKD 610.2 million for the year ending December 31, 2025, an increase of 42.1%, compared to HKD 429.3 million for the year ending December 31, 2024.
The loss per share for 2025 was HKD 114.3 cents. Excluding the net loss in the valuation of the group’s investment properties and related deferred tax items, the group’s basic earnings per share for 2025 was HKD 211.0 cents.
The board of directors proposed a final dividend of HKD 74 cents per share for the year 2025 to be paid to shareholders registered in the company’s shareholder register on June 26, 2026 (Friday).
