Teledyne Gavia, a part of Teledyne Marine, announced that the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) has placed a follow-on order for additional GAVIA Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUV) and payload modules. This order expands the capabilities of the Swedish Armed Forces in Mine Countermeasures (MCM) and Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) operations. The modular design of the GAVIA systems allows for rapid reconfiguration to meet evolving operational requirements and is part of a multiyear framework agreement for fleet modernization.
