Iraq warns that legal action will be taken against efforts to block the Kirkuk-Jayhan oil pipeline from exporting oil.

The Iraqi Ministry of Oil has warned that if Erbil prevents the export of oil through the Kirkuk–Ceyhan pipeline, Iraq will take legal action. The pipeline’s exports are expected to alleviate the impact of disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz. The total crude oil export through this route is expected to reach 450,000 barrels per day, including oil from the Kurdistan region.
