The airline announced that starting April 1, 2026, it will adjust passenger fuel surcharges, with short-haul flights increasing to HKD 389, medium-haul flights to HKD 725, and long-haul flights to HKD 1,560, all with an increase of about 34%.

Hong Kong Airlines, following its adjustment of passenger fuel surcharges on March 12, will raise it again starting March 18! Greater Bay Airlines will raise fuel surcharges starting next Wednesday
Greater Bay Airlines announced that it will adjust passenger fuel surcharges, effective next Wednesday (the 18th). For flights departing from Hong Kong, except for those to mainland China and the Maldives, other segments’ fuel surcharges will rise from HKD 142 to HKD 290, more than doubling. The fuel surcharge for flights to mainland China remains at HKD 165; for flights to the Maldives, the surcharge will increase from HKD 284 to HKD 541, an increase of about 90%.
The fuel fees for different segments will be determined based on the departure location and local currency.
