Abstract generation in progress

Recently, Amap has launched multiple public welfare map collaborations in Shandong, Shaanxi, Hubei, Liaoning, Beijing, and Jiangxi, extending service scenarios from consumer rights protection to employment services and local specialty promotion.

In Shandong, Shaanxi, Hubei, and Liaoning provinces, Amap has partnered with local governments to launch the “Trusted Consumption” series of public welfare maps. Units recognized by local government authorities as trustworthy consumption providers are marked on the map. Consumers can search for relevant keywords in the Amap app to find nearby stores, view merchant qualifications, and access complaint channels. Among them, the Shaanxi “Trusted Consumption in Sanqin” map has been launched in Ankang and Hanzhong cities, with a total of 240 points covering dining, supermarkets, hotels, and other scenarios; the Hubei Huangshi public welfare map allows residents to quickly find trusted consumption stores, view merchant qualifications, and complaint channels via the Amap app; the Shandong public welfare map covers trusted consumption units and gathering areas across the entire province; Shenyang has also mapped consumer rights protection service stations, where users can search for “rights protection service station” to navigate to the nearest station.

Beyond consumer rights protection, Amap’s public welfare maps have expanded into more livelihood scenarios. On March 14, the Beijing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, in collaboration with Amap, released the “Capital Public Employment Service Map,” which initially includes nearly 60 service entities such as employment service stations, gig economy markets, training institutions, and evaluation agencies. Users can search for “employment” in the Amap app to access a dedicated zone for job searches, resume submissions, and activity registrations. Notably, this map incorporates AI Agent and large model technologies, enabling the system to intelligently generate supply-demand analysis reports and salary references, as well as proactively push matched gig and full-time positions and training courses. Employment information has traditionally been scattered, and job seekers are sensitive to the location and distance of service agencies. In this scenario, the map provides very direct value.

Meanwhile, Jiangxi Province Consumer Protection Committee has partnered with Amap to launch the “Jiangxi Souvenir Gift” public welfare map. Unlike maps focused on consumer rights, this project mainly targets out-of-town tourists visiting Jiangxi. It features 83 selected specialty souvenir products from two evaluation events, covering all 11 cities in the province. Users can search for “Jiangxi Souvenir Gift” to find store locations and navigate there.

Amap officials stated, “Recently, we have successively collaborated with multiple provincial and municipal governments to launch a series of public welfare maps. From consumer rights protection to employment services, users do not need to download new apps or log into new platforms; simply searching for keywords in Amap allows them to access the services they need. We hope this approach will make more public service information more conveniently accessible to every corner of the city.”

Behind these three service scenarios are similar real-world needs—whether finding trusted merchants, seeking employment services, or buying local specialties, users need to locate relevant services based on their specific location. Using “public welfare maps” as a platform, Amap is transforming technological power into tangible, accessible livelihood warmth, painting a series of colorful, warm public welfare landscapes across cities and rural areas nationwide.
