Nvidia and Uber announced a partnership, planning to launch L4 autonomous taxi fleets in Los Angeles and San Francisco by 2027, with plans to expand operations to 28 cities across four continents. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang stated that the Hyperion platform and the new Alpamayo 1.5 artificial intelligence model enable vehicles to perceive, reason, and drive safely. The company also noted that companies such as Lyft, Bolt, and Grab are using its systems to enable autonomous driving capabilities.
