The previous benchmark position was stopped out at breakeven, so I'm opening a new short benchmark position. I'm not strictly requiring 2188; if there's a bigger move, like up to 2200, that would be an even better entry point for the initial short. But generally, I don't chase for that.
As long as it's higher than where I shorted, that works.
I'll stream as usual on Sunday. 2400 is a level we've been advocating and staying alert about for the past month and a half. What we're mainly focused on is when positive catalysts cluster together—generally when we reach the target level, we can short the initial position, then add to the position within our predicted range. I know some people insist that I want to short all the way down to 2400 as the ideal entry, but that's the same psychology as those who want to wait for the lowest point to open long positions for spot buying—it's not very meaningful.
Only high leverage traders care about entry precision, because even small fluctuations can trigger liquidation, so you have to be careful. But for long-term positioning, you don't need to worry about this.
