Ripple (XRP) has declined more than 60% from its July 2025 high of $3.65, currently trading near $1.37, a drop that far exceeds Bitcoin's 40% decline. Despite Ripple expanding through acquisitions of stablecoin and custody businesses, this growth has not directly translated into increased demand for the XRP token. XRP's original use case as a bridge currency is facing competition from stablecoins, and uncertainty about its utility has raised concerns that its price could fall below $1.
