Wang Yangming: Unity of Knowledge and Action

If the heart does not die, the Way will not be born;
If desire does not extinguish, the Way will not be preserved.
If the heart is not苦, wisdom will not open;
If the body is not苦, blessings and prosperity will not be abundant.
Without destruction, there is no establishment; enlightenment leads to rebirth,
The phoenix's nirvana, born from death,
If at the end of the road,
Then the situation is as unstoppable as breaking through bamboo.
1. Heart death, Way's birth: Here, "heart death" does not mean despair, but breaking free from old attachments—letting go of obsession with fame and fortune, gains and losses, clearing the mind to allow new wisdom and direction to grow.
2. Enlightenment through苦: Emphasizes the value of苦—inner磨练 opens wisdom, physical labor accumulates blessings, and困境 is a necessary path to awakening.
3. No破不立: Only by thoroughly破 old认知 and困境 can one achieve the transformation of "born from death,"迎来新生 in desperate situations.
