There are two interesting details behind this financing news. First, this is the first investment since Shenzhen Capital Group’s AI Fund was established, indicating their strong confidence in this company. Second, more importantly, it highlights Variable’s position in the internet giants’ funding circle—besides ByteDance, they have also previously received investments from Meituan and Alibaba.
