DCA into BTC has now lasted for 23 months

When I thought about dollar-cost averaging in the early morning, I would just place an order directly. After waking up, I could usually get it executed. If I didn't get filled, it didn't matter; I would just buy at market price and be done. The initial goal of 96 months has now passed nearly a quarter of the way, and looking back, time really flies.

After this round of DCA, BTC just finished a 14-month consecutive upward cycle. From a monthly DCA perspective, being able to buy in batches at different price levels is essentially the simplest form of risk hedging—no need to predict highs and lows, just let time and compound interest work for you.

The biggest takeaway from sticking to DCA for so long is that, compared to the psychological torment of chasing highs and selling lows, the mechanical discipline of DCA is actually more soothing. Executing according to plan every month and leaving the rest to the market for verification makes life feel more grounded.

Damn, it's been 23 months, and I only lasted 8 months before wanting to give up. Your mindset is really terrible.

Just keep at it, don't overthink it, and you'll earn comfortably.

Damn, it's been 23 months, and I'm still swaying on the second floor... This sense of discipline is really real, way more comfortable than my daily market watching mentality crashing.

Sticking with it for 96 months can truly earn you success, and it's really about mindset, not that fake technical analysis.

96 months, and still have to go through 75 months... Truly a test of faith. Whether you can keep placing orders during a bear market is the key. Mechanical dollar-cost averaging sounds easy, but during the 14 months of price increase, did you also regret not going all in? [Laughing] Wait, you say you can execute trades every month? The price fluctuations aren't that big, or am I just too inexperienced? The most comforting moment is actually seeing the unrealized gains on your account. Don't fool yourself, brother. 23 months and you haven't experienced a 50% drawdown? Then just wait, this is the real test of dollar-cost averaging. Dollar-cost averaging is about using time to buy more space, but the premise is that BTC can truly return to your psychological expectations.

Bro, your mindset is really solid. Mechanical discipline is indeed more healing than psychological torment. I'm also坚持ing, but sometimes I still get itchy and want to chase after it.

ngl, 23 months in and you're basically just running a basic dca algorithm at this point... statistically speaking, the real test starts after month 36 when volatility patterns shift taxonomically.

It's been 23 months already. My mindset really can't be matched. I need to learn from it.
