A leading compliant platform has just announced a partnership with licensed prediction market platform Kalshi, and will officially unveil a new product at the event on December 17.

The underlying idea is very clear—this exchange is no longer satisfied with just matching trades. Innovative product lines like tokenized stocks and event contracts are all on the table. In plain terms, it is transforming itself from an exchange into a comprehensive financial services platform. The addition of the prediction market means users can directly trade and hedge various events on the platform, further completing the ecosystem closed loop.

Starting the ecological closed-loop competition again, this time it's the prediction market? A combination of compliance + derivatives, definitely something interesting.

Is a compliant exchange setting up prediction markets? This approach is becoming more and more like traditional finance. Anyway, I just can't understand the logic behind this move.

How much of the so-called ecological closed-loop can actually be implemented when it reaches users?

The concept of an ecological closed loop has become tiresome; the key still depends on whether the retention rate can hold up. Tokenized stocks + prediction markets, the product matrix is laid out, but will users really pay for this level of innovation? I’d like to see how their incentive models are designed, otherwise it’s just another game of harvesting retail investors.

The prediction market is really here. It reminds me of the previous hype around Polymarket. By the way, can Kalshi establish a foothold in the US this time by leveraging its licensed status?

Starting to sell stories again, under the guise of compliance, anything can be disguised.

The king of volatility is starting to get competitive again, this time with prediction markets. But then again, I'm tired of hearing the term "ecosystem closed-loop" over and over.

Predictive markets are indeed attractive, but the key is whether they can actually operate successfully.
