According to TechFlow, on December 3, the Cardano Foundation announced the appointment of Stephen Wood as Chief Financial Officer. Wood will be responsible for driving financial strategy, overseeing financial processes, guiding fund management, risk management, and leading the finance team.
Wood previously served as Finance Director and Executive Committee Member at digital asset infrastructure provider Copper.co, with over 20 years of experience leading financial functions in high-growth, complex organizations, spanning both traditional finance and digital assets. His career began at Verint, where he held various financial roles for 15 years, including managing financial planning and global corporate performance management. He also held senior positions at Keyko, integrating blockchain technology into accounting.
