BlockBeats 消息，2 月 24 日，加拿大风投公司 Framework Ventures 已达成协议，将以约 4500 万美元购入上市按揭贷款机构 Better.com 约 10% 股份。此举正值 Better.com 计划进军资产代币化领域，并拟发行由 5 亿美元按揭及其他贷款资产支持的代币产品。
知情人士透露，该零售导向代币或命名为「Home Token」。公司表示，初期代币将仅面向合格投资者开放，未来计划逐步扩大至更广泛用户群体。Better.com 创始人兼 CEO Vishal Garg 表示，代币化可减少中介环节，从而降低融资成本，并为消费者提供更低利率的按揭产品。
据悉，Better.com 正与 DeFi 生态系统 Sky 合作推进按揭资产上链。Sky 使用真实世界资产（RWA）为稳定币提供支持，目前生态资本规模约 180 亿美元。Framework Ventures 亦为 Sky 的重要支持方之一。
Better.com 曾于 2021 年计划以 77 亿美元估值上市，但 2023 年实际上市首日股价大跌超 90%。目前公司市值约 4.5 亿美元。
