PANews 12月4日消息，以太坊联合创始人Vitalik Buterin发文称：Fusaka中的PeerDAS意义重大，因为它本质上就是分片技术。该技术让以太坊达成区块共识时，无需单个节点查看超小部分数据，且凭借客户端概率验证机制，能有效抵御51%攻击，而非依赖验证者投票。分片技术自2015年起就是以太坊的追求，2017年数据可用性采样也成目标，如今这一目标已达成。不过，Fusaka中的分片技术仍有三方面尚不完善：一是L2网络可处理O（c²）笔交易（c为节点计算能力），L1网络却不行，若想L1受益扩容，需成熟零知识以太坊虚拟机（ZK - EVMs）；二是存在提议者/构建者瓶颈，当前构建者需获取全部数据构建整个区块，分布式区块构建亟待实现；三是尚无分片化内存池，此为当下所需。即便如此，这仍是区块链设计的重要进步。未来两年，团队将有时间完善PeerDAS机制，在保证稳定性的同时谨慎扩大规模，利用它扩容L2网络，待ZK - EVMs成熟后，再用于L1网络实现Gas扩容。
此前消息，以太坊主网成功激活Fusaka升级，大幅提升数据处理能力。
