To facilitate fiat transfers between relatives and friends on the platform, Gate now provides the option to link bank cards of other verified accounts on this platform. Since this feature involves funds, both parties should carefully verify the identity of relatives or friends, operate with caution, and be aware of potential risks.
Before using this feature, we recommend reading: Gate Anti-Phishing Notice and Beware of Impersonation and Telecom Fraud to avoid losses caused by phishing links or scams.
Conditions of Use (all must be met)
- VIP level VIP 3 or above;
- A valid fiat trade completed within the last 15 days;
- The cardholder has completed identity verification.
If the above conditions are met and both parties have a genuine need, please carefully verify the identity of relatives or friends. Do not link bank cards of strangers to avoid financial losses.
Note: If financial loss occurs, please report to the police as soon as possible. If law enforcement requires platform assistance, please send an email to support@gate.com and provide:
- Officer’s identification,
- Case filing certificate,
- Investigation documents,
- Clear details of the requested information.
To freeze funds, an official judicial freeze notice is required.
Linking Other Verified Accounts’ Bank Cards (Web)
Step 1: Log in to your Gate account, click [Avatar] - [Profile] in the top-right corner, then select [Payment Settings] from the left menu.
Step 2: Click [Add]. Under [Payment Method], select [Bank Transfer]. Then select [Bank Card (Not Mine)], and enter the Cardholder UID, Bank Information, and Security Information to complete the binding.
Step 3: If you no longer need this feature, go to the [Payment Settings] page and click [Delete] to remove the bank card payment method.

- Both parties should carefully verify the identity of relatives or friends to avoid financial losses;
- If no longer required, it is recommended to delete the bank card payment method under [Linked Bank Card];
