#空投激励机制 I want to share an observation about incentive mechanisms after seeing the launch of Huma Season 2 Part 2 airdrop.

These airdrop projects certainly attract attention, but the design logic behind them deserves our reflection. Notice that the official rules include this clause: LP users who have already transferred or withdrawn locked PST and mPST will see reduced allocations in Part 2 distribution. This detail is actually reminding us of something very important — the project team is using this progressive incentive mechanism to guide participants toward maintaining long-term commitment.

My suggestion is that when you see short-term incentives like airdrops, take a moment to ask yourself several questions: What is the fundamental basis of this project? Do I truly believe in its long-term value? Or am I simply attracted by the incentive itself? What percentage of my total assets does this position represent?

Don't let airdrops become an excuse to "chase highs." History shows that too many people have chased into highs by chasing incentives, only to have their returns offset by project risks later. The claim deadline is January 26th, which gives us enough time to think calmly. The truly prudent approach is to ensure safe positioning first, then consider participation. Incentives will expire, but the psychological cost of losses is long-lasting.
