People who survive in the cryptocurrency circle never rely on luck
I've seen too many people disappear after doing crypto for two or three years. When you ask why, it's always the same reasons: chasing pumps and panic selling, losing position control, refusing to cut losses. Conversely, those who've walked through steadily - their account numbers speak for themselves.
I started as a retail trader too, with just a few thousand dollars initially. Now my account is at the 50 million level, and it's not because of any special talent - it's just a trading framework that I've continuously verified and refined.
Breaking it down, there are roughly three stages:
**Early stage: Using 1000U to open 5 positions**
Each position at 200U, only trading cryptocurrencies I truly understand. $BTC These mainstream assets are the first choice. The key is every trade must have stop-loss and take-profit levels set. Make a mistake and admit it immediately, never hold stubbornly.
Honestly, gains and losses at this stage are small money. What you're really training is two things - psychological resilience and execution discipline. Many people fail right here, getting into all-in gambling before they've even learned discipline.
**Mid stage: After account grows to the ten-thousand level**
Adjust each position size to around a quarter of total capital. When trending favorably, add in batches, don't chase the tops and bottoms, just capture that profitable middle section with the most certainty. $ETH Often produces relatively stable returns at this stage.
Your mindset needs to shift here - from "making quick money" to "making steady money." Once the account scales, one mistake could wipe out months of gains, so batch entry and batch exit become especially critical.
**Late stage: How to handle accounts exceeding 200k**
Withdraw a portion of profits every week, no matter how tempting the market is. Seems conservative, but there's a core purpose - prevent yourself from getting cocky after making some money, thinking you're invincible. The more you earn in crypto, the easier it is to mess up. Maintaining mindset is worth more than anything.
Why do people blow up on $PEPE assets? The fundamental reasons are just three: unplanned position sizing, failing to stop-loss when needed, being right on direction but losing everything by refusing to cut.
There are counter-examples and positive examples. I had a friend start with 1900U and follow this system for over a year - when he withdrew recently, it had grown to 23k U. Watching him go from losses to steady profits step by step, that feeling is more solid than making money myself.
The truth about crypto is this realistic - those chasing overnight riches mostly die halfway, while those willing to endure hardship and maintain discipline walk steadier and steadier.
