Right now, many AI Agents seem capable of running and thinking, but they are fundamentally "black boxes"—no one can predict what they will do. Would you dare to use such things in DeFi? Don't even think about it.
Recently, I noticed a different approach. Instead of making AI smarter, it's better to first teach it "discipline." What does this mean? It means setting clear boundaries and execution frameworks for AI, so that its actions in DeFi are traceable, controllable, and auditable. In other words, fundamentally solving the trust issue—not by believing how smart AI is, but by trusting how transparent its rules of action are.
This perspective is quite interesting. For AI to truly enter financial applications, what might be needed is not more powerful computing power, but stronger "discipline."
