$DEEP recent price action reveals some noteworthy signals from a technical perspective.
Looking at the moving averages first. After a sharp short-term rally, the price has clearly deviated from the 4-hour EMA 30, and this magnitude of deviation typically cannot be sustained for long—the market itself will generate a need for technical correction. A more direct signal comes from the 1-hour timeframe, where the short-term moving average (EMA 7) has started to turn, showing signs of forming a death cross below EMA 15, which clearly reflects weakening short-term momentum. The key point now is whether price can find support near the EMA 30.
The MACD indicator shows clearer signals. On the 1-hour chart, the fast and slow lines (DIF and DEA) have already formed a notable death cross at elevated levels, and the red momentum histogram is gradually expanding, confirming that bearish momentum is strengthening. If this signal is also confirmed on the 4-hour chart, the depth and duration of the pullback could be more significant.
Combining both signals together, the moving average deviation plus the MACD death cross at elevated levels create a resonance that further reinforces the validity of the short-term top structure. If subsequent bounces fail to effectively break through the previous highs, and the MACD indicator cannot regain strength, then from a strategic standpoint, the pullback should be expected to continue. With support levels not truly broken, bearish pressure remains dominant, but in actual trading, the approach should focus on selling into bounces after rebounds, while strictly implementing stop-losses.
