ATM của Athena có mặt tại 34 tiểu bang Mỹ, Puerto Rico và một số quốc gia Trung – Nam Mỹ.
Trong khi đó, ngành ATM Bitcoin gặp nhiều thách thức. Bitcoin Depot bị phạt 18,5 triệu USD do phần cứng ATM lỗi của công ty con BitAccess tại Canada làm ảnh hưởng đến hoạt động của Cash Cloud. Đồng thời, ATM Bitcoin ngày càng bị tội phạm lợi dụng, khiến người Mỹ thiệt hại hơn 100 triệu USD mỗi năm.
