Odaily星球日报讯 Sony Group 计划明年发行一种美元计价的稳定币，供美国客户在其数字生态系统内用于购买游戏和动漫等内容。此举是在 Sony 的银行部门 Sony Bank 于 10 月申请美国国家银行牌照之后提出的。该牌照将允许其子公司 Connectia Trust 从事“涉及加密货币的某些指定活动”，包括发行与美元挂钩的稳定币、维护相应的储备资产以及提供托管和数字资产管理服务。Sony Bank 已与稳定币公司 Bastion 合作，由后者提供 Sony 稳定币的基础设施。Sony Bank 希望美国客户能使用其稳定币支付 PlayStation 平台上的游戏订阅和其他内容，此举将减少信用卡支付产生的手续费。此前，Sony 及其合作伙伴 Startale Group 在 2025 年 1 月推出了 ETH Layer2 网络 Soneium。Sony Group 还运营着 PlayStation 平台和 Crunchyroll 动漫流媒体服务。（Decrypt）
