Athena Bitcoin, công ty fintech Mỹ vận hành các ATM Bitcoin trên toàn quốc, triển khai khuyến mãi giảm 10% khi mua Bitcoin vào ngày 28/11/2025 nhân dịp Black Friday. Khách hàng có thể nhận ưu đãi tại bất kỳ ATM Athena Bitcoin nào bằng mã khuyến mãi FRIDAY. Chương trình nhằm khuyến khích tặng Bitcoin làm quà trong mùa lễ, giúp người dùng giới thiệu người thân với tiền điện tử hoặc tăng lượng nắm giữ hiện có, theo COO Carlos Carreno. ATM của Athena có mặt tại 34 tiểu bang Mỹ, Puerto Rico và một số quốc gia Trung – Nam Mỹ.
Trong khi đó, ngành ATM Bitcoin gặp nhiều thách thức. Bitcoin Depot bị phạt 18,5 triệu USD do phần cứng ATM lỗi của công ty con BitAccess tại Canada làm ảnh hưởng đến hoạt động của Cash Cloud. Đồng thời, ATM Bitcoin ngày càng bị tội phạm lợi dụng, khiến người Mỹ thiệt hại hơn 100 triệu USD mỗi năm.
