Die Goldene Finanznachricht berichtet, dass die Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) bekannt gegeben hat, dass sie ihre gesamten Anteile an Digital Asset für 37 Millionen US-Dollar (57 Millionen AUD) verkauft hat, wobei der Käufer ein nicht benannter Investor ist. Digital Asset ist der Entwickler des Blockchain-Handelssystems CHESS der Australian Securities Exchange. Nach sechs Jahren Mühe und dem Wechsel in der Geschäftsführung der Australian Securities Exchange wurde das Projekt schließlich aufgegeben. Digital Asset hat bisher insgesamt 315 Millionen US-Dollar an Kapital aufgenommen, unterstützt von zahlreichen Blue-Chip-Investoren, darunter Accenture, Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, IBM und JPMorgan.
