Kim Declares Himself as “Son of XRP” In a series of quick posts on X, Kim calls himself the “Child of XRP,” claiming that he was “born to bring XRP to US$100” and that “nothing can stop it.” He also emphasizes that “cryptos will explode soon.” This series of posts follows Kim’s pattern of increasingly promoting XRP. Previously, he predicted that XRP’s price could reach US$100 within five years and argued that Ripple’s token is superior to BTC. At the time of publication, XRP’s price was at US$1.32, down 1.67% in the last 24 hours. Interestingly, if XRP’s price rises to US$100 , it would mean an increase of 7,475% from the current level. Kim’s focus isn’t limited to XRP. He states that the altcoin season has arrived “100%,” predicts meme coins will rally first, and calls BTC “basically a meme coin.” Bold Claims Meet Skepticism Kim’s crypto predictions are gaining more attention as he claims to have an IQ of 276 and positions himself as the smartest person in the world. However, these claims continue to be met with doubt. For example, Kim’s prediction on January 6 was that Bitcoin would reach US$100,000 within 48 hours or by August 8 at the latest. But that prediction failed, as BTC actually dropped from US$93,747 to US$91,099. Kim’s other crypto predictions have also often missed the mark. He predicted XRP would hit an all-time high by the end of 2025, but that did not happen. He also projected BTC would reach US$300,000 by early 2026, but that figure has not come close so far.
