Since we can't change it, we might as well enjoy it well.

I went on a group tour recently and got ripped off by the tour guide along the way - you know, the kind of forced sales pitch where if you don't buy tickets to watch this show, you can't get off the bus.

It was a farmhouse bonfire party.

One older lady paid the money but spent the whole time complaining about this and that, dragging others into her complaints, with a frown on her face the entire time.

One older gentleman had the attitude of "I'm already here, I've already paid, so why not just eat meat and drink wine heartily." Maybe the alcohol got to him - later on he even danced together with everyone.

After it ended and we got back to the hotel, the tour guide came to ask the older gentleman if he had a great time. Guess what happened... The older gentleman directly got in the guide's face and let loose. He absolutely tore him apart.

"Whether I enjoy myself has nothing to do with your pathetic forced selling."

Someone asked, what's this older gentleman's mindset?

Even if I'm a fish on the cutting board, I'm still gonna be the most lively jumping fish🐟

Who cares about bull and bear cycles, AI anxiety, world wars, or asteroids hitting Earth — let me eat this bowl of meat first.
