I was recently trading new tokens in the Solana ecosystem, and the results were rather embarrassing. I bought SLOPCOIN at the bottom and had unrealized gains of 5,000 in profits, but failed to exit in time; I also made 3,000 on HSMA but similarly didn't realize the gains; BRAIN only made 1,000 due to a small position. These popular new tokens appear to have significant gains, but the few projects I actually held ended up losing 30 SOL in total. After tallying up the accounts, I discovered that this type of short-term trading is far more difficult to operate than imagined. Even with individual trades being profitable, when consolidated, it's easy to fall into a loss situation. To consistently earn six-figure returns, the barrier to entry is indeed quite high.
