März, die World Stiftung gab bekannt, dass ihre Tochtergesellschaft World Assets, Ltd. in der vergangenen Woche mit vier Gegenparteien einen OTC-Verkauf von WLD-Token im Gesamtwert von 65 Millionen US-Dollar abgeschlossen hat, wobei die erste Transaktion am 20. März 2026 abgewickelt wurde. Der durchschnittliche Preis dieser Verkäufe lag bei etwa 0,2719 US-Dollar pro Token, wobei Token im Wert von 25 Millionen US-Dollar eine 6-monatige Sperrfrist haben. Die Erlöse aus diesem Verkauf werden für die Kernbetriebsführung, Forschung und Entwicklung, Orb-Produktion sowie die Entwicklung des Ökosystems verwendet. Die entsprechenden Abwicklungstransaktionen erfolgen über die Multi-Signatur-Adresse 0xE797.
