SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce is optimistic that the SEC may approve two important features of the Ethereum ETF: Real asset trading and staking.
Physical Redemption allows investors to convert ETF certificates to receive ETH directly instead of cash or derivative products.
The staking feature helps ETH staking pools to earn profits and redistribute them to investors, making Ethereum ETF more attractive to investors.
Previously, under the leadership of Gary Gensler, the likelihood of implementing these two features was almost nonexistent. But Ms. Peirce believes that with new management, everything will become easier.
