There's a tough battle to fight early Wednesday morning.

At 3:00 AM, the FOMC decision; at 3:30 AM, Powell's press conference. Everyone is watching just one thing: Is this 25 basis point rate cut hawkish or dovish?

To be honest, there’s a lot of internal conflict within the Fed right now. The data is conflicting—on one hand, inflation isn't fully under control; on the other, the job market is looking a bit shaky. The rate cut is happening, but will there be more cuts after this? Powell will probably play the “cut rates but talk tough” card—cutting, but speaking cautiously and leaving room for future decisions.

As for the crypto market? Be careful of “sell the news.” Prices might rise before the announcement, but after it drops, we could see a round of shakeouts. The volatility is likely to be more certain than the direction.

Will BTC break $100,000? We’ll find out this Wednesday.

Powell's tough talk makes it clear there's nothing coming up—no way they're going to cut rates.

I've already figured out Powell's rhetoric. Whenever he talks tough about rate cuts, BTC is bound to go through a shakeout. Wednesday's move is hard to predict.

Powell’s mouth is something else—talking tough while planning a rate cut, playing word games I’ve seen a hundred times. As for the shakeout, we’ll see the real deal on Wednesday. Those betting on BTC breaking 100,000 this week probably aren’t sleeping well at night, haha. The FOMC blackout period before the meeting is the hardest to get through; with no news, price is driven entirely by sentiment. Once expectations are met, the price dumps—this trick is old as time but works every time. Alright, let’s just see what Powell says—one sentence could decide it all. Feels like he won’t be too hawkish this time, but not too dovish either. The middle-of-the-road approach is the most frustrating. No matter how things go on Wednesday, retail investors are getting rekt again.

Powell's mouth, after all these years, is still as slick as ever.

Powell, that old fox, is just talking tough about rate cuts—I see right through his act. The market shakeout continues as usual. BTC still depends on the upcoming trends.

fed's gonna talk tough while cutting rates, classic move. market already priced in the 25bps anyway, so real alpha is reading between powell's lines for what comes next. volatility extraction > directional calls this time around, honestly.
