There’s another issue in Poland. The lower house of parliament just finished voting, but the result didn’t reach a majority—the crypto regulation bill previously vetoed by President Karol Nawrocki has failed to be overturned this time.

This is a pretty big deal, since the bill was meant to align with the EU’s crypto industry standards. Prime Minister Donald Tusk even pushed it as a matter of national security, but now it’s stuck again.

It seems Poland’s path toward standardized crypto industry management is definitely not going smoothly.

I’ve said it before about policy flip-flopping—the more regulators waver, the more it shows the big players haven’t figured out how to profit from retail investors yet. Poland’s recent setback? The opportunity is right across the way, and those who get it have already started quietly positioning themselves.

Poland keeps going back and forth, and it feels like political gamesmanship has messed up the progress of regulation.

The political struggle in Poland just never ends. The regulatory bill keeps getting tossed around, Tusk must be about to lose his mind.
