Protecting Marine Ecology: Gate Charity Organized The 5th Coastal Cleanup Event in The Philippines
Gate Charity, a global non-profit philanthropic organization, recently hosted the 5th successful marine ecological protection-themed event on 30 September 2023 in Bohol Philippines, after a series of related themed events. The event aimed to raise awareness about marine ecological protection and promote environmental sustainability.
The event was themed around marine ecological protection and saw the participation of around six people, including local diving instructors and enthusiasts. The event involved sailing to Bohol Island and diving to photograph marine life in nearby waters. The event began at 10:30 am and continued until 16:30 pm. Under the leadership of the diving instructor, participants were introduced to marine life in the sea area of this activity, as well as the ecological pollution of the sea area. The participants dived many times to photograph the beautiful marine life, and get in close contact with marine life in the nearby waters. These marine life underwater photographs would later be converted into NFTs for charity sale to further support marine ecological protection.
