Gate.io has successfully completed the delisting and buyback of SpiritSwap (SPIRIT) following Fantom's (FTM) migration to Sonic (S) tokens. This move aims to protect user assets and enhance the trading experience for all platform users.
🔹 Buyback Program Completed
For users who submitted the required buyback application, the corresponding funds have been credited to their Gate.io accounts. You can review the details in your Transaction History.
🔹 SPIRIT Trading & Withdrawals Are No Longer Supported
Gate.io no longer facilitates deposits, withdrawals, or trading of SpiritSwap (SPIRIT). Users who did not participate in the buyback may still hold their SPIRIT tokens but should be aware of potential risks, including limited transfer functionality on the FTM chain.
🔹 No Further Development from the SPIRIT Team
Despite efforts to communicate with the SpiritSwap project team, they have confirmed that no further development or migration plans exist for the token. Users should exercise caution when deciding their next steps.
