I've recently been looking at PFPs and various "membership cards," honestly, many times what you're buying isn't just an avatar, but a sense of "I'm here too." As for long-term value, I think it depends on whether the community is willing to treat people as people and not just traffic; the same goes for brands—only those that can truly continue their story have a chance, otherwise once the hype fades, all that's left is a picture.

Recently, everyone has been obsessing over unlocking calendars and the pressure of staking unlocks, and I get anxious too, but what I fear more is being led by emotions. Yesterday I was talking about long-term, and today I start doubting life because of a single unlock node... Anyway, I've set a boundary for myself: I don't need to be understood, I just need to stay in an environment I resonate with, even if it’s a bit slower. Before the next mint, I’ll remind myself... I’ll probably still go for it, but at least I’ll do it more consciously.
