Applicable to the field of artificial intelligence, the Ministry of Education and the State Language Commission release two new standards for language and writing.

To actively respond to the practical needs of language in the era of artificial intelligence and to promote the construction of a standardized system for language norms, the Ministry of Education and the National Language Work Committee recently released the “Standard and Evaluation Outline for Machine-Synthesized Mandarin Proficiency Assessment” and “Basic Terminology for Artificial Intelligence Corpus” as two language standards. These standards were organized and developed by the Language Application Research Institute of the Ministry of Education (the National Language Committee’s Mandarin and Script Application Training and Testing Center) and have been approved by the National Language Committee’s Language Norms (Standards) Approval Committee. They have now been officially published by the Language Press. (CCTV News)
